New Balance
New Balance is one of the world’s major sports footwear and apparel manufacturers.
Role: Global Social Media Co-op
Responsibilities: Drafted and scheduled social media posts, helped with community management, and completed small research projects. I also worked on a final project in an area of interest that I presented at the end of my co-op.
For my final project, I researched and designed a hypothetical sports hijab for New Balance. This was a project I had a close personal connection to and was extremely passionate about.
Additionally, I created customized art pieces for each member of my team. I chose to do an illustrative style of different New Balance shoes and used bright colors to highlight different parts of the them. I also replaced the “N” on each shoe with the initial of each team member.
